Job Description
Builtrix is looking for an experienced freelance BREEAM consultant or assessor to collaborate on upcoming real estate sustainability and ESG assessment projects across Portugal.
This role is ideal for professionals with BREEAM or LEED experience who want to work flexibly with a technology-driven ESG company shaping the next generation of sustainable building analytics.
Responsibilities:

Support the Builtrix team in applying the BREEAM and LEED framework to diverse building types (office, hospitality, logistics).

Review documentation and evaluate compliance with sustainability and certification criteria.

Contribute to identifying improvement measures and estimating their potential impact and cost.

Provide technical validation and guidance on sustainability reporting and building assessments.
Requirements:

Proven experience with BREEAM In-Use, BREEAM New Construction, or equivalent certification (Assessor or AP).

Background in sustainability, building performance, or environmental engineering.

Strong analytical and report-writing skills.

Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English .

Availability for freelance collaboration (part-time, remote, with potential site visits).
