In a strategic move towards achieving carbon neutrality and promoting sustainable development, the Cascais Municipality has joined forces with Builtrix, to revolutionize energy management in Cascais.
As part of this innovative collaboration, Cascais is leveraging Builtrix's cutting-edge digital technology to monitor and forecast energy consumption in municipal buildings. By harnessing consumption data, the municipality aims to identify opportunities for increasing energy efficiency and driving cost savings.
One of the key highlights of this partnership is the analysis of four buildings within the Cascais Ambiente operational area, which exhibit significant potential for savings. Through Builtrix's advanced analytics platform, Cascais is gaining valuable insights into energy performance, enabling informed decision-making regarding implementation of renewable energy and optimization of energy consumption inside municipal buildings.
Furthermore, Builtrix's expertise extends to evaluating the feasibility of renewable energy solutions, including the installation of photovoltaic panels for on-site energy production. By quantifying potential savings and assessing the percentage of self-consumption, Cascais is paving the way towards a more sustainable energy future while reducing its carbon footprint.
