Job Description

You’ll work directly with our product team and take full ownership of the front and back ends of our energy analytics dashboard. Your day-to-day tasks include:

Frontend Development (React):

• Maintaining the existing frontend assets and transforming UI/UX designs from tools like Figma and V0 into responsive, high-performance React interfaces. Providing good knowledge on dashboard libraries and their seamless integration as part of the overarching data platform.

​

Backend Development & API Integration:

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs to serve internal features and external third-party integrations.

​

Database Management & Data Aggregation:

• Work with SQL and time series databases (i.e., PostgreSQL) to create optimized data views and materialized tables to support real-time widgets and analytics.

​

User & Security Management:

• Ensure secure authentication and role-based access across the platform.

​

CI/CD & Agile Collaboration:

• Use GitHub and agile methodologies to deliver code efficiently with a “release early, improve often” mindset.

​

AI-Powered Frontend Enhancements:

• Build intelligent and interactive user interfaces by integrating GenAI services, chatbots, and automation tools into the dashboard experience.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Thinks beyond code, you actively contribute to product discussions and help shape the roadmap with insights from both the tech and business perspectives.

• Moves with urgency, but doesn’t cut corners. You understand the balance between speed and stability as well as the topic of software product quality to adapt standard methods.

• Owns what they build, from front-end UI to backend logic to the performance of a dashboard widget in production.

• Loves innovation, especially around integrating AI and automation into frontend experiences that elevate the product and user interaction.

• Collaborates remotely with ease, proactive communication and transparency are in your DNA.

​

Must-Have Skills:

• 3+ years in full stack development (React + NodeJs + Python preferred)

• Experience building APIs and working with PostgreSQL

• Strong command of AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM, API Gateway, RDS, Redshift)

• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform (a plus)

• Comfort working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and remote agile teams

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience integrating GenAI APIs or building chatbots directly into React frontends

• Experience working with data visualization libraries (e.g., ECharts, D3.js, Recharts)

• Experience with software quality assurance

• Understanding of data privacy and GDPR compliance

• Passion for sustainability and clean tech

• Good written and verbal Portuguese communication skills
